Redfield Fire Department

Serving Our Community. Protecting Our Future.

Redfield Fire Department is a volunteer fire department proudly serving Redfield, Linden, and surrounding areas in Guthrie and Dallas Counties.

Our firefighters are neighbors, coworkers, and friends, answering the call day and night to protect lives, property, and our community.

We’ve been here for decades.
Now we’re building toward the next 40 years.

Who We Are

Redfield Fire Department is a volunteer department responding to approximately 200 calls each year, providing fire protection while working closely with EMS partners and neighboring departments. Our firefighters balance family, careers, and training, all while serving the community they call home.

Whether it’s a structure fire, vehicle accident, grass fire, or mutual aid call, we show up when it matters most.We don’t do this for recognition.

We do it because Redfield deserves it.

Redfield Fire: By the Numbers

Fire Station Interior

Why a New Fire Station Matters

Our current station has served Redfield well since the early 1980s, but it was built for a different time.

Today, space limitations, outdated layouts, and stacked apparatus slow response times and create safety challenges for firefighters. There’s limited room for training, gear decontamination, equipment storage, and future growth.

A new fire station means:

  • Faster response times

  • Safer gear cleaning and decontamination

  • Space for modern training and equipment

  • Room to serve a growing community

  • A facility built for the next generation of firefighters

This project isn’t about luxury.

It’s about safety, readiness, and the future of our community.

Want to Serve Your Community?

We’re always looking for motivated, self-driven individuals who want to give back and be part of something bigger than themselves.

No experience? No problem.

Training is provided, along with the opportunity to develop skills, build lifelong friendships, and make a real difference.

If you live or work within the area and want to help your community thrive, we’d love to talk.

Support Redfield Fire

Building a new fire station is a community effort. Donations help fund planning, equipment needs, and future construction while strengthening our ability to pursue grants and long-term funding.

Ways to support include:

  • One-time or recurring donations

  • Business or organizational sponsorships

  • Community fundraising events

Every contribution, large or small, helps protect the future of fire protection in Redfield.

A Department Built on Community

We’re proud to participate in parades, soup suppers, side-by-side rides, raffles, school visits, and community events throughout the year.

Fire protection doesn’t start at the station, it starts with relationships, education, and trust.

Thank you for supporting your volunteer firefighters.
